DAY 1

Arrival in Brussels

Lunch in a typical restaurant in Brussels (according to flight schedules)

Guided tour of the Mini Europe Park to discover 350 models representing the different European countries. You will travel through the most beautiful cities of the Old Continent in just a few hours: Venice’s gondolas, the bells of Big Ben, the Berlin Wall, a bullfight of Seville … A free visit of the Atomium monument built for the 1958 World Fair.

Journey by coach to the Holland

Evening meal and overnight accommodation in host families in Holland.

DAY 2

Breakfast provided by your host families.

On the way to the Efteling amusement park, the group will stop to appreciate the Kinderdijk Mill site and it’s 19 typical Dutch windmills, all classified under the UNESCO world heritage program. These mills symbolize water management in the Netherlands. Travel onwards to discover the enchanted world of Efteling amusement park, a themed amusement park built around stories and magic.

Midday lunch is provided in the form of a packed lunch.

The afternoon will continue in the Efteling Theme Park.

Evening meal and overnight accommodation in host families in Holland.

DAY 3

Breakfast provided in your host families.

Journey to Rotterdam, the biggest European port, and the main industrialised region of the country. Guided visit of the port where you will learn about its activities: constructions, storages, and logistics … Then you are free to stroll through the Markthal, the largest indoor market in Holland combining gastronomy and contemporary architecture.

Midday meal is provided in the form of a packed lunch.

Travel towards Lisse where you shall enjoy a visit to the Keukenhof Flower Park, the largest floral park in the world. You will be overwhelmed by a surge of colors and scents.

Evening meal and overnight stay in host families in Holland.

DAY 4

Breakfast with your host families.

Travel to Amsterdam, the cultural capital of the country. You can choose one of three possible visits, either the Rijksmuseum, the country’s largest museum with objects and works from the Middle Ages to the 20th century,  the Van Gogh Museum, which houses the largest collection of works by the famous painter, or Anne Frank House, where Anne Franck lived with her family in hiding for 25 months.

Midday meal is provided in the form of a packed lunch.

Spend some time at the famous flower market, before a boatride on the famous 17th century canals. Then discover Holland aboard a flight simulator as if you were a bird : you will fly virtually over the polders, the tulip fields, the canals …

Evening meal in a local restaurant before traveling by coach to Berlin.

DAY 5

Arrival in Berlin in the morning and breakfast in a restaurant

Guided tour of Berlin Mitte: with passages in front of the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, Museum Island.

Midday meal in the form of a packed lunch.

In the afternoon, you will climb to the top of the TV Tower which offers a magnificent panorama of the city. Then some free time at Alexanderplatz.

Dinner and overnight stay in host families in Berlin.

DAY 6Breakfast is taken in your host families.

Ascension of  the dome of the Reichstag, the seat the German Parliament since 1999.

Midday meal in the form of a packed lunch.

Visit of Erlebnis Europa which presents the functioning of the European Union, where you will watch a film on the history of the European Parliament. Later, you can discover the Potsdamer Platz.

Dinner and overnight stay in host families in Berlin.

DAY 7

Breakfast provided in your host families.

A guided bus tour will bring you through the city of Berlin, with stops at the Berlin Wall from Bösenbrücke to the East Side Gallery. Known as the “wall of shame”, the Berlin Wall was built to end the exodus between East Berlin and West Berlin, forming an “Iron curtain” that separated the city for more than 18 years. Following the destruction of the wall in 1989, the East Side Gallery was built to remind the importance of peaceful expression for the country.

Lunch is provided in the form of a packed lunch.

In the afternoon, you shall enjoy a guided tour of Berlin around the theme of Street Art, an artistic movement that testifies the free and alternative spirit of the city. Then you shall visit  “Urban Spree”, a multidisciplinary area of the city, dedicated to urban cultures through a program of exhibitions, artistic objects, and open-air concerts …

DAY 8

Breakfast provided by your host families.

Travel by coach to Krakow.

Lunch in the form of a packed lunch.

Arrival towards the end of the afternoon and you are free to discover the city at your own pace.

Dinner and overnight accommodation in host families in Wielizcka and surrounding suburbs.

DAY 9

Breakfast in your host families.

Travel to Krakow, the favourite city of the Polish people, with a guided tour of the city: Walk through Planty Park, around the old town, the Slowacki Theater, the Market Square, and the Church of Our Lady …

Midday meal in the form of a packed lunch.

Free tour of Rynek,  underground tunnels that interactively retrace the history of Krakow in medieval times. Then free time around Rynek, and in particular, it’s magnificent market place, the largest medieval square in Europe.

Dinner and overnight stay in host families in Wielizcka and surrounding suburbs

DAY 10

Breakfast in your host families.

Departure for Auschwitz: a guided tour of the concentration camp and its museum, followed by a visit to the camp of Birkenau.

A packed lunch is provided for midday

Back to Krakow and free time in the city.

Dinner and overnight stay in host families in Wielizcka and surroundings.

DAY 11

Breakfast in your host families.

Excursion to Wielizcka and visit of the oldest salt mines in Europe: walk through the huge salt crystas rooms.

A packed lunch is provided for midday

Guided tour of Wawel Castle: the Royal Chambers, the Treasury, the Arsenal, the Royal Tombs, the Coat of Arms and the Cathedral.

Transfer to Krakow Airport
