Schedule

DAY 1

Depending on the flight schedule, breakfast, lunch or free dinner at your expense or optional

Arrival in Paris where a private coach will be waiting for you.

Midday meal lunch at your expense (we can make arrangements for you)

Guided panoramic tour of Paris with a view of the main monuments that make the French capital famous: the Eiffel Tower, the worldwide known monument of the city, the Avenue des Champs-Elysées, the most beautiful and famous avenue in Paris, the Arc de Triomphe …

Evening meal and overnight stay in a youth hostel in Paris.

day 2

Breakfast provided in the hostel.

Visit of the Musée Grévin and its wax statues of French and international stars such as Paul Bocuse, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Clooney or Marilyn Monroe. Followed by a guided tour of the Opéra Garnier and its secret places.

A packed lunch is provided for your midday meal.

You are free in the afternoon to discover the authentic charm of the district of Montmartre, that dominates Paris and free visit of the Sacred Heart Basilica.

DAY 3

Breakfast provided in the hostel.

Journey by coach towards Verdun, one of the most famous battlefields of the First World War.

A packed lunch is provided for your midday meal.

In the afternoon, in the company of a historian, a commentated visit will bring you through the major sites of the battle of Verdun: Over three hours, during which you will visit Fort Vaux or Douaumont, Trench Bayonets, Ossuary Douaumont, before entering the Memorial-Museum of the Battle of Fleury.

DAY 4

Breakfast provided by the hotel.

You are then free to discover Strasbourg, considered today to be the Capital of Europe. You shall visit the city’s Gothic cathedral, the craft-shops of “Petite France”, one of the oldest districts of the city that once housed, fishermen, millers and tanners, the town’s covered bridges, the Vauban dam … Followed by a boat trip on the river Ill.

Lunch is the form of a packed meal.

In the afternoon, a treasure hunt called the “European Rally” in Strasbourg is an amusing way to learn about history of the construction of Europe, to discover the political institutions of the city, such as Court of Human Rights, or the European Parliament and to understand the role of these institutions.

Evening meal and overnight stay in your hotel in Alsace.

DAY 5

Breakfast is taken at the hotel.

Journey towards Rust and a day ticket to enter the Europa theme park, allowing you to virtually walk through Europe with over a hundred different attractions that summarize the countries of Europe ;  Germany, country of poets and thinkers, France, in a typically Alsatian street with half-timbered house fronts, Greece, the cradle of European culture, Iceland, Italy, Spain …

Midday meal is provided in the form of a packed lunch.

After lunch, you can continue your visit of the park before traveling back to your hotel where your evening meal awaits you.

DAY 6

Breakfast provided at the hotel.

Coach journey to Brussels. Stop on the journey to have your provide packed lunch.

Arrival in Brussels in the afternoon.

Enjoy a guided tour of a traditional chocolate factory.

Then you are free amble through the city to admire it’s magnificent buildings ; the Royal Palace, the Grand Place,  Saint Michel’s Cathedral, the Manneken Pis, the Town Hall and the traditional guild houses.

DAY 7

Breakfast provided in the hostel.

Followed by a guided tour of the Mini Europe Park where you shall discover 350 models representing the different European countries. You will travel through the most beautiful cities of the Old Continent in just a few hours: the gondolas of Venice,  Big Ben, the wall of Berlin, Seville and it’s world famous bullfight arenas … You can visit Atomium, a monument built for the 1958 World Fair.

A packed lunch is provided for your midday meal.

In the afternoon, you will visit the European Parliament visitors’ center,: the Parlamentarium or the European History Mansion, which tells the story of the 20th century European continent as well as European integration. Then you have some free time to walk through the city.

DAY 8

Breakfast is provided in the hostel.

You shall then have a guided visit of the “Comic route”: a walking tour that will bring you through the giant frescoes of Comic strip heroes that adorn the buildings of Brussels.

Midday meal is provided in the form of a packed lunch.

Depending on your flight schedules,  you may have some free time for shopping before a coach transfer to Brussels airport.
